How do I join Quad Moms?

If you are returning Quad Mom, please click here and then add the 2018-19 Membership Dues to your cart. After your order has processed, you’ll be added to the 2018-19 member directory.

If you are a new Quad Mom, please complete our online membership form here.  It includes the option to pay dues and donations online or by check.

If you do not want to renew online, please follow the instructions below to download our pdf membership form.

  1. Please download our membership form.
  2. Print and complete our membership form.
  3. Send our membership form along with your dues and donations check to the address on the form.
  4. Upon receipt, you will be contacted letting you know how to access the member-only areas of this website and added to the Quad Moms Facebook page.

If you are a new Quad Mom, please complete our online membership form here.  It includes the option to pay dues and donations online or by check.

You’ll be asked to enter the same information as the paper membership form. Once submitted, admin review your application to verify that you have a son or daughter in the corps and then send you information about the two ways to pay your dues – online or by check – both of which are processed through Quad Mom’s online boutique’s shopping cart. How can I access my Quad Moms account?

If you were a 2016-2017 Quad Moms Member, you should be in our system.  If this is your first time logging in, just go to our password reset page and enter your email address then select the “Reset Password” button.  You’ll be sent a link via email where you can create a new password.  If you don’t see an email, check back in 5-10 minutes.  If you still don’t see an email, please check your spam folder.  If you are still having issues, please contact us.

Terminology

What is a Zip?

A Zip (or Zipper-Head) is a nickname for a senior in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University.  The name comes from the black and gold braid on the garrison caps of seniors in the Corps of Cadets, which resembles a zipper.

What is a Butt?

A Butt or Serge Butt is a nickname for a junior in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University.  It refers to the “serge” material used in making pants for junior cadets pre-1960.

What is a Pisshead?

A Pisshead is a nickname for a sophomore in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University. Sometimes abbreviated as “PH”.

What is a fish?

A fish is a nickname for a freshman student in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University.  In the Corps, the term is used in place of freshmen cadets’ first names and is always written in lowercase, e.g. “fish Jones.”
